Sentosa Island is an extension of beautiful Singapore. My favorite tour was the sky tram over to Sentosa Island. However I would have loved to explore even more but ou time ran out. We also experienced quite a few rain showers during our time there. The giant Merlion stands tall as it protects the island of Sentosa. I found the Merlion a little intimidating at first. We explored this special island on our own while we waited for the light show to start. There were many unique vendor shops, etc to explore. The view of the sunset from the white sand beach was intriguing.
The light show was fabulous, nothing like I had seen before. As an adult, I even enjoyed seeing Peter Pan and company in the light show. It was a great day and evening!
I was looking forward to going home to our comfy hotel the Grand Mercure ROXY, that I booked through Booking.com
Gardens by the Bay was amazing with all the beautiful vegetation surrounding the stunning domes. The Flower Dome held nine gardens from Africa, Australia and Europe. I have never seen anything like the Cluster of Super Trees, so beautiful! The Cloud Forest was captivating with the waterfalls and beautiful views. The Ferris wheel looked intriguing. I would love to go back and experience the ride, among the many other attractions, we did not have time for.
We met four very nice people from India at the end of our tour of the Gardens by the Bay.
Singapore is very hot and very humid. I used Young Living Essential Oils, Peppermint to feel refreshed and less hot.
