After the 14 day Celebrity Cruise I stayed one more night in Singapore at the Mercure Singapore Bugis.  When I booked through Expedia I did not realize there were two Mercure Hotels in Singapore until I arrived at the other Mercure Roxy where we had stayed before the cruise.  Mercure Bugis is further away from the airport, but I had prepaid $190 for my room.  It is a very modern flair.  My room was very small, containing two twin beds.  If there would have been two of us we would have had to put our luggage out in the hallway.  Yes, it was that small and did not even have a real closet.  But it was pretty and the view and infinity pool was fabulous!  The little Asian boy was so interested in me, that it made me laugh. a very modern flair.

I think all of Singapore must have been shopping in the Bugis area on this Sunday.  The mall was huge with many escalators to the many floors.  I only made it to a few stores.  I had already bought too many shoes the first time around.

I was very happy that I remembered to take my umbrella as there was a huge downpour.  This is quite common in Singapore.  Would love to go back, but so many other places to visit.

Lorna’s Happy Travels!
